ASSIGNING DRIVERS TO ASSETS IN BULK

We added a Drivers column to the assets.xlsx import template (which you can download on the Admin - Assets screen – see Importing Assets for details). This will enable you to assign all your drivers to your assets in bulk instead of one by one.

We’ve also added a new check box to the Import Assets dialog box, Enable Automatic Reassignment of Drivers Assigned to an Existing Asset, which will use the new assignments in the assets.xlsx template to reassign any operators who had a previous vehicle association.

FILTERING BY ACTIVE ASSET STATUS

On the Tracking screen, we improved the Asset Status filter by adding an Active option for customers with machine assets, which enables you to limit the returned machine assets to just those with an Active status. (Previously, the only Asset Status filter options were Idle, Moving, Parked, and Towed.)

VIEWING SENSOR EVENT AND STATIONARY VALUES IN THE GATEWAY HISTORY REPORT

For our cargo-monitoring (supply-chain) customers, we are now populating the Events column in the Gateway History report grid with threshold breaches for temperature, light, shock, and tilt; critical and low battery status changes; and Stationary/Moving status values.

We also added a Stationary column to the grid that will show how long the device has been in a stationary state (has not moved), including the number of days, hours, minutes, and seconds.

Note that the Events and Stationary columns will be displayed by default.

IMPROVED THE LOOK AND USABILITY OF THE GATEWAY HISTORY REPORT

For our cargo-monitoring (supply-chain) customers, we improved the look and feel of the Gateway History report:

  • We moved the Timestamp column to the primary position in the grid and grouped the rows of results under it by device ID. If there is an associated asset, its name will appear in the grouped cell.
  • We added a Device column, which will display the device name.
  • We renamed the Identifier column “Device Serial Number” for enhanced clarity.
  • A red dot will be displayed next to any breached sensor values in the grid.
  • The design of the pop-ups on the map will now be consistent with those on the Tracking screen. The pop-up window will display the asset or device name in the header, and threshold breach values will appear in red.
  • We improved the export to CSV to include the above column/grouping enhancements, plus a new Asset column for the asset name.

IMPROVED CRASHBOXX FNL ALERTS

For customers with the CrashBoxx module, we improved the FNL notification (which sends out an FNL [first notice of loss] alert if there is a potential loss event involving any of the assets in the selected group) by providing more details in the collision report summary in the email.

DISPLAYING PERIODIC EVENTS IN THE ASSET HISTORY REPORT

In the Asset History report, we reimplemented a previous change to avoid a situation in which the status is displayed as Idle but the Events column’s value is Moving; now the event will be Periodic.
