If you have forgotten your iOn password and need to reset it, follow these steps:
- In a browser, navigate to https://ion.calamp.com.
iOn will launch.
- Type your username in the Username field.
- Click Next.
The Password field will appear.
Note: If your organization is using single sign-on (SSO — see Single Sign-On Between Okta and iOn) and you entered an SSO username, instead of the Password field appearing, you will be redirected to your Okta URL. You'll need to use Okta's password-reset procedure in this case. - Click Forgot Password?.
The password-reset screen will appear.
- Click Submit.
CalAmp will inform you that a password-reset link has been sent to the email address stored in your profile.
- Click OK.
- Open the email.
Note: If you don’t receive that email, check your junk mail folder. - Click the Click Here to Reset Your Password link in the email.
The iOn website will launch and prompt you for a new password.
- Type the password you'd like to use in the New Password field, with these requirements:
- The password must contain one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, one number, and one special character.
- It must have between 10 and 64 characters.
- It cannot contain spaces or your username.
- The password must contain one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, one number, and one special character.
- Retype the same password in the Confirm Password field.
- Click Update.
A success message will appear at the bottom of the screen.
- Click OK to dismiss it.
You'll be returned to the login screen.
- Log in as usual, using your new password. (See Logging In and Out if needed.)
