ENHANCED THE POSTED SPEED VIOLATION REPORTS

We expanded the capabilities of the Posted Speed Violation Detail and Posted Speed Violation Summary reports as follows:

  • We added a PSL filter, which will enable you to exclude lower posted speed limit values from the results. (For example, if you enter 25, only violations that occurred when the PSL was above 25 will be included.)
  • You can now change the Over Speed Limit Threshold filter to 1 to see speed limit excess of any value (for example, even as low as 1 mph over the PSL). (Previously, if you set this filter to 1, it would still show only violations that were 5+ over the PSL.) The default value will still be 5.

DOWNLOADING REPORTS

We added an icon () at the top right of the report results that will enable you to download the report to CSV, Excel, or PDF. (The previous Download option on the overflow menu to download to PDF or an image still exists as well.) If you export a report with multiple widgets, the CSV option will download each one as a separate file, and Excel will combine all the widgets as separate tabs in a single XLSX file. There are still row limits for PDF and Excel — Excel 200,000, PDF 20,000 — so you should use CSV for larger reports.

iOn will display a progress bar and message to show the status of the download.

ADDED COLUMNS TO THE DRIVER SCORE CARD REPORTS

We added an optional Asset Alias column to the Driver Score Card Summary v2 report and an optional License Plate column to the Driver Score Card Detail and Driver Score Card Summary reports. These columns can be added when you customize the reports.

SUPPORTING PRIVATE TRIPS

For customers with private trip functionality, we added the ability to hide private data in places it would normally be shown. This private/business trip feature is reflected in multiple ways in iOn:

  • We added an optional Trip Type column, which indicates if the trip was a private or business trip, to the Trip Detail and Trip Summary reports.
  • For private trips, we hid some values in the Trip Detail report — the location, latitude, longitude, start time, end time, and date will instead show “Hidden.”
  • We added optional Private Distance and Business Distance columns to the Driver Score Card reports.
  • We added optional Private Distance and Business Distance columns to the Safety Dashboard.

IMPROVED THE PDF FORMAT FOR THE BETA REPORTS SCHEDULER

We improved the PDF option for the beta reports scheduler so that it will show more of the available information. Previously, it would show only one page of data. Note that it will still have a limit of 20,000 rows.

LIMITED BETA GROUP

This feature is available for just for a few customers who have agreed to test it out while it is still in beta. Most iOn users will NOT see the new reports scheduler.

RECONFIGURED THE DRIVER DASHBOARD

In version 2.83, we added a new tab to the Fleet Dashboard, Driver, which was designed to be a tool for drivers. We have updated it to show only widgets that will aid the individual driver viewing it.
