DISPLAYING THE UNIT OF MEASUREMENT

For all reports that include data such as distance, fuel consumed, and speed, we added the unit of measurement to the column headings (according to your account settings).

IMPROVED FUEL REPORTING

We improved fuel reporting as follows:

  • For all reports that include an optional Co2 Usage column (such as Asset Analytics Detail), we changed the heading to WLTP Co2 Usage. This column shows carbon dioxide usage in kilograms, using this formula:
    • CO2 usage = WLTP CO2 multiplied by the distance driven divided by 1000
    • The WLTP (worldwide harmonized light vehicle test procedure) CO2 value is calculated as follows:
    • WLTP CO2 = the fuel consumed (in gallons) multiplied by the CO2 factor (8820) divided by the distance driven
  • We added two graphs to the Fuel & Energy Efficiency Summary report that will show the top five assets with the most fuel consumed and the trend for the amount of fuel consumed over the course of the last three months.

INCREASED THE NUMBER OF EMAIL ADDRESSES ALLOWED WHEN SCHEDULING REPORTS FROM THE RESULTS SCREEN

In the Schedule Report dialog box that you launch via the  icon in the title bar of the report results, we increased the character limit of the Email(s) field to 1,000, so you can now include more email recipients.

VIEWING THE DRIVER IN THE DEVICE COMMUNICATION SUMMARY REPORT

We added a Last Associated Driver column to the Device Communication Summary report, which will display the driver who was last assigned to the asset associated with the device. This will be displayed by default.

IMPROVED INPUT USAGE DETAIL PERFORMANCE

We improved the performance of the Input Usage Detail report, so it will load faster.

IMPROVED THE ACCURACY OF SPEED DATA

For all reports, we added handling of bad speed data due to GPS disruptions; now, the GPS and VBUS values will be compared to make sure that the reported speed is valid. For historical data, any speeds reported higher than 120 mph will be removed.
