SEARCHING FOR ANY REPORT ON ANY TAB

On the Analytics & Reports screen, the Search field on the right for all three tabs in the Reports pane (Common, Special, and My Reports) will now return results for all the reports, regardless of which category they are in. For example, if you are on the Common tab and perform a search for “fuel,” all of the Fuel & Energy report tiles will be displayed (even though that category is on the Special tab).

PERFORMING A VICINITY SEARCH

We added a new circular boundary search option to make the process of tracking asset history in a certain area simpler — Vicinity Search. For this feature, you right-click the area of the map you want to view activity for, select Vicinity Search, and enter the time frame (such as the past eight hours) and radius size. The results will be displayed in a circle on the map and will show the timestamps and asset names at the beginning and end of the time range as tooltips on the event icons.

SELECTING SIDEBAR FLYOUT MENU OPTIONS

If your browser window’s height is reduced to the point that the sidebar menu produces a scroll bar in order for you to access the lower items, you may have noticed that flyout menu items were difficult to select (such as Assets on the Admin menu). We have fixed this issue.

SMOOTH ASSET MOVEMENT ON THE TRACKING BETA SCREEN

On the Tracking Beta screen, when you are tracking asset activity live, you will see that the asset icons now appear to move smoothly on the map rather than jump from one location to another.

LIMITING ACCESS TO INDIVIDUAL REPORTS VIA ROLE PERMISSIONS

We added the ability to limit a user’s access to reports, one by one, based on their role. You’ll see new toggles in the Add/Edit Role dialog box under Analytics & Reports with each report’s name so that you can grant or deny permissions individually by report (or select an entire category).

If a user’s role doesn’t have rights to a certain report, it won’t appear on the Analytics & Reports screen for them.

VIEWING VISION AND SPREADER DATA

If you have an asset with both a Vision camera and a spreader, you can now see data for both in the Asset Details pane.

INFORMING YOU IF REMOTE DISABLING ISN’T SUPPORTED FOR A DEVICE

On the Admin - Assets screen, if you select Disable Vehicle from the overflow menu but the asset’s device doesn’t support remote disabling, a message will now appear to inform you of that.
