VIEWING SAFETY DATA ON A NEW DASHBOARD

We added a new Safety (Beta) Dashboard, which is currently in beta and will be available alongside our current Safety Dashboard for the time being. The Safety (Beta) Dashboard by default shows the data of your currently selected group but has a drop-down option that enables you to select a different group. It has these widgets:

  • Harsh Events Breakdown: A pie chart showing harsh event safety violations by type
  • Harsh Events Trend by Month: A line graph with a line for each harsh event that represents the total number from month to month
  • Fleet Score: Your current overall fleet safety score
  • Harsh Events Summary Table: A table that lists your drivers by name and displays the event type count of each harsh event they are responsible for over the course of the chosen time frame (by default, the current month plus the last two months)
  • Driver Score Card Summary: A grid of driver score card data, including their driver score, the number of days they were active for the date range, their travel time, idle time, distance driven, speeding events, and maximum speed

EXPANDED VISION EVENTS FOR DRIVER SCORING

We expanded the driver score evaluation to include more Vision events. You can see these on the Admin - Driver Scoring screen, which shows the events each category includes, as follows:

  • Collision Warning: Rollover Detection, High-G Event, Potential Crash, Tailgating, and Forward Collision Warning
  • Distracted Driving: Gaze Down, Texting, Drinking, Smoking, Distracted Driving, Drowsy Driving, and Cellphone
  • Traffic Violation: Seatbelt Violation and Stop Sign Violation
  • Lane Drift: Lane Drift

SHOWING THE DEVICE’S BATTERY LIFE ON THE TRACKING SCREEN

On the Tracking screen, we added a Device Battery row to the Asset Details pane and a Device Battery (%) column to the grid; these will show the battery percentage remaining for the asset’s device. (If you are using electric vehicles, you’ll still see their battery value in the Battery row and Battery [%] column.)

ENLARGED ICONS FOR ASSET HISTORY

When you map an asset’s history on the Tracking screen, you’ll see larger icons for each event on the map. We’ve also enlarged the event and input icons for the History layer.
