SUPPORTING LOGGING IN AND OUT VIA SSO USING OKTA

We have added single sign-on (SSO) support via Okta, which means that your users log in through the Okta identity provider and then access iOn without having to enter their credentials again. In order to implement this, your organization will need to have your own Okta account and integrate it with iOn. Go to the KB folder Single Sign-On Between Okta and iOn for information on how to set this up.

UPDATED LOGIN SCREEN

We have changed the login process for both SSO and non-SSO customers: The login screen will begin with only the Username field; as that is processed, iOn will detect if your organization has Okta SSO integration. If it does, you will be directed to the Okta authentication portal, where you will log in. If your account is NOT using SSO, you will be taken to a second iOn screen with the Password field.

Logging out will be the same as it currently is (choosing Log Out from your profile drop-down); the only difference for SSO users will be that their Okta authentication token will be revoked.
