IMPROVED DRIVER SELECTION IN THE IMPORT ASSETS DOWNLOAD TEMPLATE
We improved the process of assigning drivers to assets when you are importing the assets. Previously, you had to type the drivers’ first and last names in the Driver column on the XLSX download template; now, we’ve provided a drop-down list from which you can select each name.
In addition, we’ve added a new subsheet to the template, Drivers, that will list the drivers in the group you have selected in the Group Chooser, plus its subgroups. These are the names that will populate the drop-down list in the Driver column of the Assets sheet.
IMPROVED USER INTERFACE FOR VIDEOS THAT ARE NO LONGER AVAILABLE
For our CalAmp Vision customers, we have improved how we display videos that are no longer available due to being older than our storage time (six months). Previously, if you tried to view an unavailable video, an error and a Refresh icon would appear, which made it look like you could see the video if you clicked Refresh. Instead, now, the Asset Details pane will show a Not Available icon for older videos instead of a thumbnail, as shown below. When you hover over this icon, a tooltip of “This video is no longer available” will be displayed.
ENHANCED CRASHBOXX WITH ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE
We have enhanced our CrashBoxx algorithm with machine learning, so its reporting and analysis will be more accurate. Customers who have purchased the CrashBoxx module will see a new name reflecting this throughout the user interface; the offering formerly known as CrashBoxx is now called CrashBoxx AI.
