VIEWING MORE BATTERY AND CAMERA HARSH EVENTS WHEN USING THE HISTORY LAYER
When you use the History layer’s View by Asset option to watch recent and live basic asset activity, you will now see that Battery Voltage Low Alert and Battery Voltage OK Alert events are included (as well as the already shown Battery Low events).
In addition, if your organization is a CalAmp Vision customer, you will be able to view the camera events Potential Crash, Drinking Distracted Driving, Smoking Distracted Driving, and Max Speed (as well as the already shown Hard Cornering, Lane Drift, Stop Sign, Tailgating, Tilt Angle Exceeded, and Speed Violation events).
VIEWING ENGINE RPMS ON THE TRACKING SCREEN
We added a sortable Engine RPM column to the Asset History and Tracking grids, which will display the asset’s last reported engine RPM (revolutions per minute) value. Note that this column isn’t displayed by default but can be added via the column selector.
VIEWING DRIVER NAMES ON THE TRACKING SCREEN FOR CARGO-MONITORING DEVICES
For our cargo-monitoring (supply-chain) customers, we have added the driver’s name to the device cards on the Tracking screen (when applicable), both in the Asset List view and Asset Details pane.
IMPROVED THE TEMPERATURE SENSOR ALERT
For our cargo-monitoring (supply-chain) customers, we have improved the alert email produced by the Gateway Environmental Sensor Breach notification when it is set to send a notice that a temperature sensor’s threshold has been breached. The alert will now be titled “Temperature Sensor Alert,” and it will include the asset type and asset alias (in addition to all the details previously provided, such as asset name, current temperature reading, and group name).
USING THE CALAMP APPLICATION ON A MOBILE DEVICE
For customers who view the CalAmp application via a mobile device, we fixed an issue that would crash the whole site if an error occurred on any page.
REMOVED THE TAG INVENTORY REPORT
We removed the Tag Inventory report due to low customer usage.
