IMPROVED SEARCH AND HEADER IN THE GROUPS/ASSETS FILTER

On the Tracking screen, we improved the Groups/Assets filter as follows:

  • The Groups/Assets header and Search feature will be frozen, so when you scroll down in the filter box, they will remain visible.
  • When you click the  icon, the cursor will be automatically be placed in the Search bar so that you can begin typing. (Previously, you had to click in the bar before you could type.)
  • When you click a search result, its check box will be selected in the tree.

MORE USER-FRIENDLY TIME VALUES FOR THE ASSET HISTORY SUMMARY CARDS

When mapping asset history, you will now find that the Idling Time and Driving Time summary cards present their values in an easier-to-read manner. If the time is longer than an hour, both hour and minute values will be displayed, such as “3 Hr 14 Min”; if the time is shorter than an hour, only minutes will be shown, as in “23 Min.”

IMPROVED VISIBILITY OF THE SELECTED TRIP’S HISTORY PATH LINE

When you are mapping asset history and select a trip or event marker, that trip’s path line remains at full opacity, while the rest of the path’s color becomes faded. Previously, the inactive paths were faded to 50% opacity, but that didn’t provide enough of a visual difference for some users. Now, the inactive path lines will be set to 10% opacity (and its nodes to 40% opacity), which will make the selected path line more visible.

IMPROVED DISPLAY FOR INPUT DATA IN THE ASSET POP-UP WINDOW AND ASSET DETAILS PANE

On the Tracking screen, we added a new input status display to the asset pop-up window that has bars for each assigned input with the number of the input below the bar. A filled bar indicates that the input is active. You can hover over the bar to see a tooltip with the input name and status, such as “Plow On.”

In addition, we improved the input data display in the Diagnostics section of the Asset Details pane that will list the input names and show On/Off bars (which will be filled in for the On state and just an outline for Off).
