EXPORTING ALL OF AN ASSET’S ASSOCIATED DEVICES

We improved the export of the Admin - Assets grid data by including all the devices that are assigned to the assets (if you have the Device column in view, as the export will match the columns you have displayed in the grid).

IMPROVED THE HISTORY LAYER’S POP-UP BEHAVIOR

On the Tracking screen, when you are mapping activity using the History layer, you will see that we changed how the pop-ups behave so that they no longer appear when you hover over an event; now, the pop-up will be displayed when you click an event icon. (The previous behavior would also lock the pop-up in view, making it hard to see data from other events.)

IMPROVED THE TEMPERATURE SENSOR ALERT

For our cargo-monitoring (supply-chain) customers, we have improved the alert email produced by the Gateway Environmental Sensor Breach notification when it is set to send a notice that a temperature sensor’s threshold has been breached. The alert will now be titled “Temperature Sensor Alert,” and it will include the asset name, current temperature reading, asset type, asset alias, and group name (in addition to all the details previously provided).

RECEIVING ALERTS IN ITALIAN OR SPANISH

We previously enabled new languages for our notifications, but users were having trouble finding the new options due to how they were set up for limited access. Now, users will easily be able to set non-English languages such as Spanish and Italian via the SMS/Email Language drop-down list of the Add/Edit Notification dialog box. (Note that support for Japanese is no longer available.)

USING THE GLOBAL SEARCH FEATURE WHEN ADDING AND EDITING ASSETS

In the Add/Edit Asset dialog box’s Devices grid (which you access by clicking Select from Detailed Device List above the Device field), we removed the column filters, as you can use the Search field to limit the results to certain criteria.
