VIEWING PERIPHERALS ON THE DEVICES SCREEN
For customers using spreaders, we added a Peripheral(s) column to the Admin -Devices grid, which will show which spreader, if any, is associated with the device, such as Force America. Note that this column isn’t displayed by default but can be added via the column selector.
SNOOZING ALERTS
We added a new Snooze Duration field to the Add/Edit Notification dialog box, which will enable you to select a snooze duration of 1 to 24 hours. When the triggering event occurs, the CalAmp application will send a notification. If the event reoccurs within the period of the snooze duration, no further alerts will be sent. If the event occurs again after the snooze duration has passed, another notification will be sent out.
Note: This is applicable only for alert types Door Status, EV State of Charge, Gateway Battery Level, Gateway Environmental Sensor Breach, Gateway Stationary, Generic Sensor, Hub Temperature Excursion, Light Out Detection, Parking Brake Over Pressurized, Parking Brake Pressure Differential, Service Brake - Harsh Braking, Service Brake Pressure Differential, Tag Environmental Sensor Breach, Tire Pressure Excursion, Tire Temperature Excursion, Trailer Drag Detection, Trailer Drag Detection - Parking Status, and Wear Sensor.
IMPROVED THE HISTORY LAYER’S DIRECTIONAL MARKING
On the Tracking screen, when you are mapping input activity using the History layer, you will see that we moved the directional arrows on the assets’ path lines from the connecting lines to the input event markers so that you can better see which direction each asset was heading.
In addition, when you are using the History layer’s View by Asset option to watch recent and live basic asset activity, you will see that the directional arrows have been changed to a new, cleaner design.
IMPROVED THE DESIGN OF THE ASSIGN ASSETS DIALOG BOX
We improved the Assign Assets dialog box to make the process of assigning an asset to another asset more intuitive. The new implementation hides the current asset from the list, adds an Asset Assigned icon () to rows of assets that are already associated with other assets, and adds a tooltip for the new icon that states which asset it is assigned to.
INCLUDING THE ASSET NAME IN CRASHBOXX FNL ALERTS
For customers with the CrashBoxx module, we added the asset name to the FNL (first notice of loss) email notification.
