TREATING POTENTIAL CRASH VISION EVENTS AS HARSH EVENTS
For our CalAmp Vision customers, we are now displaying Potential Crash (Camera) events as harsh events in Asset History. The “Potential Crash (Camera)” text in the Asset History grid will now be red (as other harsh events are), and their incident count will be included in the Harsh Events summary card above the grid.
SHOWING WHEN KEY FOB SCANS HAVE NO MATCHING DRIVER ON THE TRACKING SCREEN
On the Tracking screen, we have implemented a method of identifying active assets that have a key fob scan that is not associated to a driver (in addition to the Invalid Keyfob report, which is after the fact). CalAmp will now create a placeholder driver name of KEYFOB XXXXXX (in which XXXXXX is the scanned key fob ID number), which will appear in the Driver column of the Tracking grid. The placeholder names will also appear in the Invalid Keyfob report.
IMPROVED FIND NEARBY FEATURE
On the Tracking screen, we improved the Find Nearby feature:
- We added the ability for you to use a more precise distance for your search, in .1 mi/km increments.
- A Find Nearby filter chip will appear above the map.
- If a boundary filter had been applied, it will be deactivated.
SENDING THE UPDATED WELCOME EMAIL IN MORE LANGUAGES
We previously updated the “Welcome to the CalAmp Application” email with a more modern design; we have now implemented the new template for Welcome emails sent in our non-English language options (Japanese and Italian).
SEARCHING FOR IMEI AND SERIAL NUMBER (IN ADDITION TO ESN)
We improved the Select from Detailed Device List dialog box (accessible when adding/editing an asset or a notification) by expanding its search capability to include Serial Number and IMEI options, in addition to the device name and ESN. Also, we added Serial Number and IMEI columns to the grid, which, like the ESN column, are sortable and filterable.
IMPROVED APPLIED-FILTER ICON
On grid screens, we have made the fact that a filter is applied to a column more visible, placing next to the column header.
UPDATED DATE/TIME FORMAT FOR CRASHBOXX FNL ALERTS
For customers with the CrashBoxx module, we changed the date format in the FNL (first notice of loss) email notification to be MM DD YYYY and the time format to HH:MM:SS, plus the local time zone (such as “Eastern Daylight Time”).
