SHOWING IF THE CHOSEN ASSETS DIDN’T TRAVEL WHEN MAPPING ASSET HISTORY

When mapping asset history, you will now find that the Distance Traveled summary card will display “N/A” if the selected assets were not in motion over the course of the selected time range. If one of the assets didn’t move but others did, the total distance will be displayed with an asterisk.

OPENING THE EDIT DEVICE AND EDIT ASSET DIALOG BOXES FROM THE ASSETS AND DEVICES SCREENS

On the Admin - Assets screen, we made the identifier in the Device column a clickable link that will open the Edit Device dialog box. We made a corresponding change on the Admin - Devices screen. (The name in the Asset Name column is now a clickable link that will open the Edit Asset dialog box.)

CONFIGURING A NOTIFICATION FOR A CARGO-MONITORING DEVICE’S BATTERY LEVEL

For our cargo-monitoring (supply chain) customers, we added a new notification type, Gateway Battery Level Alert, to the Add Notification dialog box. This will enable you to configure an alert that will notify you when a device’s battery level falls below a percentage value you specify.

VIEWING A CARGO-MONITORING DEVICE’S ASSIGNED ASSETS ON THE TRACKING SCREEN

For our cargo-monitoring customers, we added an Assigned Assets field to the Tracking screen’s Asset Details pane, as well as the asset card in the assets list, which will show all the assets associated with the device.

ADDED NEW TRAILER REPORTS

We added four new reports to the Trailer category:

  • Generic Sensor History: Returns data from a third-party generic sensor. For example, if you have a wired temperature probe attached to a CalAmp device, you will be able to retrieve the probe data from inside a trailer, including the history of events, when they occurred, the sensor type, the sensor value, and the sensor units.
  • Light Out Detection Sensor History: Lists a history of all the light out detection sensor events for the selected date range, including the asset name, geofence or other location, light out detection sensor status, light out detection sensor circuit, and date and time of the event.
  • Weight Sensor History: Shows a history of all the weight sensor events for the selected time period, including the asset name, geofence or other location, weight sensor reading, and date and time of the event.
  • Brake Chamber & Wear Sensor History: Returns a history of all the brake chamber and wear sensor events for the chosen time range, including the asset name, geofence or other location, brake chamber sensor state, service brake chamber pressure readings in PSI, parking brake chamber pressure readings in PSI, remaining percentage value of brake shoe thickness, and date and time of the event.

RUNNING GEOFENCE REPORTS FOR CARGO-MONITORING DEVICES

We expanded the Geofence reports to return results for cargo-monitoring assets/devices.

RETURNING RESULTS FOR ALL DRIVERS FOR THE PSL REPORTS

We changed the PSL (posted speed limit) reports to now return results for all drivers. (Previously, if drivers weren’t assigned to an asset or if there were no assets at all in their group, they wouldn’t be included in the PSL reports.)
