SEARCHING ON THE ADMIN - DEVICES SCREEN

On the Admin - Devices screen, we added a Search field that will enable you to search for devices by asset name, device name, device type, ESN, and other properties.

RENAMING THE ASSETS AND DEVICES MAP LAYERS

We renamed two of our map layers to better differentiate what they show: The Assets layer will now be called Fleet Assets, and the Devices layer Cargo Assets.

IMPROVED USER INTERFACE FOR THE SENSOR SUMMARY PANE

For customers with trailers using cargo sensors, we improved how the Sensor Summary pane looks and feels, removing extraneous white space, making the icons and colors more consistent with the rest of the application, matching the breadcrumb text with the selected sensor, and displaying full sensor location names in tooltips (such as “Left Front Inside Tire”).

AUTOMATICALLY EXPANDING VALUE-ADDED SERVICES IN THE ASSET DETAILS PANE

For customers who have purchased value-added services with data displayed in the Asset Details pane (such as the Sensor Summary panel for cargo monitoring and the Spreader panel for spreader controller data), we have made the panels automatically expand.

VIEWING SHOCK AND TILT SENSOR VALUES IN THE GATEWAY HISTORY REPORT

For our cargo-monitoring (supply-chain) customers, we made it easier to view your Shock and Tilt sensor values when you run the Gateway History report:

  • Now, the Shock and Tilt columns will be displayed by default in the grid. (Previously, you had to add them via the column selector.)
  • The Shock and Tilt values will be shown in the event pop-up windows on the map.

ADDED FLIGHT MODE AND OCEAN MODE TOGGLES TO THE EDIT DEVICE DIALOG BOX FOR CARGO DEVICES

For our cargo-monitoring (supply-chain) devices, we added two new toggles to the Edit Device dialog box, Flight Mode and Ocean Mode, which will enable detection that will turn on those modes. The device detects that the cargo is in flight using acceleration and pressure data or that it is on the ocean using the cellular network. After the device makes that determination, it will turn on Flight or Ocean mode, which will turn off device reporting in order to conserve battery (similar to putting a mobile phone into Airplane mode).

IMPROVED SAFETY VIOLATIONS DETAILS ON THE SAFETY DASHBOARD

On the Safety Dashboard, we are improving the Safety Violations Details grid and its corresponding map, which you launch by clicking a value in the Driver Leaderboard widget:

  • When you make a selection in the table, the map will zoom in on the chosen data.
  • You can select multiple rows in the grid (by pressing Ctrl + clicking).
  • We are freezing the column header row of the grid.
