EDITING SCHEDULED REPORTS

You can now edit a previously set up scheduled report by clicking  on the screen that displays the future schedules for a specific report. (This icon existed previously but did not function.)

SENDING WELCOME EMAILS

We improved the process of importing users; previously, if the import template didn’t specify a status for the users, iOn would correctly default that to Enabled but incorrectly not send the users a Welcome email. (When you create a new user account, that user is sent a Welcome email with credential information and a link to the iOn site.) The Welcome emails will now be sent out in this case.

IMPROVED GRID RENDERING

On grid screens, we improved the user experience when the content is loading: The loading icon now will appear as a visual indicator that the grid is being populated, the grid will no longer be blank when the screen launches, and the grid will not move its position on the page.

SCROLLING HORIZONTALLY IN THE HISTORY GRID USING THE MOUSE WHEEL

On the Tracking screen, if you are viewing the History tab of the Asset Details pane, you can now scroll horizontally left and right within the grid to see column data that was off the pane by using Shift + mouse wheel. This also works for the Asset History report’s grid.

INCLUDING THE SECONDS VALUE IN THE ASSET HISTORY REPORT TIMESTAMP

The Asset History report’s Time column will now include the seconds value for each event’s timestamp.

VIEWING THE DATE FOR EVENTS WHEN TRIPS ARE DISABLED IN THE ASSET HISTORY REPORT

When you disable trips in the Asset History report, the Trip Date column will now change to Date and display the date of the event in the row. When trips are enabled, the date will also be shown for events between trips. This feature has been added for viewing history on the Tracking screen as well.

RECEIVING LOW BATTERY CHARGE ALERTS

For customers with electric vehicles, we added a new notification type to the Add/Edit Notification dialog box, iOn EV State of Charge, which will send out an alert when the selected assets’ state of charge falls below the specified percentage threshold.

FOCUSING ON A SINGLE ASSET IN HUGE FLEET MODE

If your Tracking screen is in Huge Fleet mode (due to displaying over 5,000 assets), you will no longer lose the selection of an individual asset when you zoom out. Previously, after you zoomed out, the map clusters would envelop the asset, so it would no longer be identified as the one you’d chosen.

IMPROVED ASSET DETAILS AND POP-UP FOR SMART TRAILERS

For customers using smart trailers, we improved the Asset Details pane and asset pop-up window by displaying previously fetched data when an asset is selected (and then the new data after it has been loaded); in the past, no data would be shown until the new information appeared.
