IMPROVED IMPLEMENTATION OF MAPPING ASSET HISTORY IN A CERTAIN AREA
We improved the ability to map the history of asset activity in a specific geographic region (also called a boundary report) as follows:
- Now, grouping results by trips will be disabled so that you can more clearly see the raw event data (which will avoid strange results due to some trip events being outside the boundary). Note that this will not disable trips for subsequent user sessions.
- The grid data will automatically have the asset rows collapsed, making it easier to see the results as a whole.
EDITING AND DELETING GEOFENCES IN BULK
We added the ability to edit and delete multiple geofences at once on the Admin- Geofences screen. You will be able to edit only fields the geofences have in common, such as their group assignment.
USING THE SAVE MAP VIEW FEATURE IN ASSET HISTORY
We added the Save Map View feature (a new Tracking feature in release 3.0.38) to the Asset History v2 report, so you will now be able to both see previously saved views and add new map views. If you add a new map view, you will also be able to access it on the Tracking page.
CLEARING ADMIN GRID COLUMN FILTERS
We added the Clear All Filters icon () to all the Admin screens (except Admin - Maintenance); this will appear above the grid after you’ve applied any column filters and will enable you to clear all the filters at once.
IMPROVED BULK EDITING OF ASSETS
On the Admin - Assets screen, we improved the ability to edit several assets at once. Now, you can edit some of the shared fields without having the other properties changed. (Previously, you weren’t able to make a bulk edit to the asset schedule or maintenance schedule without first selecting a group, which meant that you couldn’t add a schedule to multiple assets without moving them all to the same group. Now, if you don’t select a group, the shared properties will be populated based on the first common ancestor for all the assets in your group hierarchy.)
DISPLAYING THE LOADING ICON FOR ASSET HISTORY
Now, when you map the history of asset activity using the Asset History v2 report, the loading icon will appear when the data is being fetched (so that you have a visual indication the report is working).
IMPROVED ASSET LIST PERFORMANCE
On the Tracking screen, we improved the performance of the asset list so that it will load and respond to clicks faster.
