The Resource Center is a tool that provides announcements about what's new in the CalAmp application (including links to release notes), a feedback form, and a link to the Knowledge Base of help articles (that this guide is part of).

To use the Resource Center, follow these steps:

  1. Click  in the banner at the top of the screen.
Note: If there is a number above the icon, it signifies how many unread announcements you have.
    The Resource Center will appear.

  2. To read messages from the CalAmp team about the software, click Announcements.
Note: Again, if a number is displayed, that is the count of your unread announcements.
    Your announcements will appear.

will be displayed to the left of each unread message and quickly fade away, as scrolling to it marks it as read.

Scroll down to see all the announcements, most of which will be about the latest release notes.

  3. To use the Resource Center to give feedback to the CalAmp development team, follow these steps:

    1. Click Share Feedback.

    2. Click Feedback Form.

The Feedback Survey form will appear.

    3. Click a rating for the software at the top (with 10 being the highest).

    4. Answer the questions in the provided boxes.

    5. Add any other details you would like to include in the Additional Comments field.

    6. Click Submit Feedback.

  4. To open the Knowledge Base of help articles (which includes this document!), click Help Portal and then Help Portal again.

The Knowledge Base will open on a new tab and display the CalAmp Application category of help files.

You can scroll down to find the articles you need.
PRO TIP: Don't forget about the search feature at the top of the screen! In the box, type the topic you need, such as "add driver," and matching articles will be displayed in a drop-down list. The list will be expanded if you click Search to the right.
  5. To exit the Resource Center, click  at the top right of the window.
