GETTING DISTANCE VALUES WHEN USING THE FIND NEARBY FEATURE

On the Tracking screen, we improved the Find Nearby feature, which enables you to locate fleet vehicles that are near an asset. Now, the found assets will have the distance in miles or kilometers from the origin point included next to their name in the assets list, and the list will be sorted by proximity (with the closest asset on top).

FILTERING BY STATUS AND ROUTES

On the Tracking screen, we added a new filter option to the More Filters drop-down list, Asset Status, which will enable you to limit the returned assets to just certain status values: Idle, Moving, Parked, and Towed.

In addition, we improved the Route filter (also on the More Filters drop-down list) by allowing users without Admin privileges to also filter their assets to just specific routes. (Previously, you had to have Admin - Routes rights to even see this More Filters option.)

OPENING POP-UP WINDOWS FOR CUSTOM MAP LAYER FEATURES

We added support for pop-up windows for customers who use custom map layers on the Tracking screen, which will appear when you click an entity’s icon. The pop-up window will include details about the entity and the Find Nearby and Navigate To options.

FOCUSING ON A SINGLE ASSET WHEN MAPPING RECENT ACTIVITY WITH THE HISTORY LAYER

We improved the experience of mapping recent activity using the History layer for viewing an individual assets’ behavior. When you select an asset, the map will now pan and zoom in on it and its pathline, and the paths and markers of other assets will be hidden.

SENDING WELCOME EMAILS IN MORE LANGUAGES

When you create a new user account, that user is sent a Welcome email with credential information and a link to the iOn site. Those emails will now be in the language you specify for the new user. The supported language options are English, English (UK), Japanese, and Italian.
