RETAINING GROUP SELECTION WHEN REMOVING DEVICES FROM MULTIPLE ASSETS

We simplified the process of removing devices from multiple assets by changing the default group selection in the Remove Device dialog box. Now, if you have previously removed a unit and moved it to a different group, the dialog box will automatically select the same group you chose for the last disassociated device. This will persist throughout a user session.

IMPROVED PROCESS FOR SELECTING COLUMNS ON GRID SCREENS

We improved the process of customizing what columns are displayed on grid screens as follows:

  • You no longer have to select Done in the Columns dialog box (which you access by clicking  to the top right of the grid) to apply your changes; as soon as you check or uncheck a column header, the column will appear (or no longer appear) on the screen.
  • You can now click outside the Columns dialog box to close it. (Previously, you had to select Done or the Close icon to exit the box.)

DISPLAYING AN ASSET’S DIRECTIONAL MARKER WHEN THE ASSET POP-UP IS OPEN

On the Tracking screen, an asset’s marker will now continue to be visible when you click it to display the asset pop-up so that you can still see which direction the asset is traveling. (Previously, the marker disappeared when the asset pop-up was open.)

SEARCHING FOR ION TAGS BY ESN WHEN ADDING AND EDITING THEM AS ASSETS

We made it easier to add (and edit) an iOn Tag as an asset by making it possible to search for the tag by ID number in the Devices grid (which you access in the Add/Edit Asset dialog box by clicking Select from Detailed Device List above the Device field).
