IMPROVED TRACKING SCREEN PERFORMANCE AND ASSET GRID

We have continued to improve the performance of the Tracking screen so that it will load much faster; you will particularly notice that the asset grid’s data is now displayed more quickly.

In addition, the asset grid’s header row has been fixed at the top of the page so that you can always see it as you scroll down.

IMPROVED TRACKING SCREEN SEARCH AND ASSET LIST FOR MOBILE DEVICES

We improved the mobile device user interface for the Tracking screen’s Search feature and asset list. The Search bar is now at the top with a filter icon to the right, and the asset list will be easier to access and will be given more screen real estate. (Now, you tap the tab shown at the bottom of the page to display the asset list, which will then appear on the whole of the screen.)

VIEWING DASHBOARD EXPLANATORY TOOLTIPS

We added information icons to the Dashboard widget headings (); when you mouse over one of these, a tooltip will appear that explains what data the widget provides, such as this for the Miles Driven widget: “Displays the total number of miles driven by all assets in your fleet for each period of the selected date range.”

PROVIDING MORE TRACKING SCREEN BASEMAP OPTIONS

We added more basemap options to the Tracking screen’s Switch Map View option (similar to the legacy iOn choices). Previously, the only option other than the standard map was to toggle to a satellite view; now, when you click Switch Map View, you’ll be offered these basemaps:

CONTROLLING WHO CAN ADD AND EDIT MAINTENANCE SERVICE LOGS

We added a new permission to the Add/Edit Role dialog box, Add/Edit Service Logs, that will control whether users are allowed to create and update maintenance service logs. Note that you can still separately allow users to just view the Maintenance dashboard.
