ENHANCED USABILITY OF THE ASSET HISTORY EVENTS FILTER

We made the Events filter for the Asset History report more user-friendly. Now, instead of choosing from a long list of all the LMU events, you will be presented with three main event categories — Core, Safety Violations, and Advanced. If you select Advanced, you will have five subcategory options: Device Diagnostics, Asset Diagnostics, Custom Inputs, Periodic, and Tags. If you select a main event category, Asset History will return all the events within it, or you can expand a category and choose just a few of its events.

By default, the events that have been chosen most often by iOn users in the past will be preselected in the Events filter (the Core and Safety Violations categories), but you can change the selections as needed.

IMPROVED GEOFENCE VIEW IN THE ASSET HISTORY GRID

We changed the way the new Geofence column in the Asset History report grid (added in release 3.0.12) processes asset geofence entrances and exits so that duplicate records won’t be listed in the grid.

CHOOSING INPUT EVENTS IN THE HISTORY LAYER WIDGET

We added a View by Event option to the History layer of the Map Layers widget on the Tracking screen. Previously, you could view historical events only by asset; now, you can select View by Event to view input events such as Plow for the past 24 hours (for up to 40 assets). Each input will have its own color pathline and color gradient representing its use for the past few hours (such as dark teal for the past 6 hours, lighter teal for the past 6 to 12 hours, and so on).

USING CUSTOM MAP LAYERS

We added support for custom map layers on the Tracking screen, which means that you can include maps particular to groups — for example, if one group contains street sweepers, you could have Sweeper Routes as an option on the Map Layers pane for that group, and it wouldn’t appear for a different group.

SORTING AND FILTERING BY PARENT GROUP ON THE ADMIN - GROUPS SCREEN

We added sorting and filtering capabilities to the Parent column of Admin - Groups so that you can view just the parent groups you need.

VIEWING UNEDITABLE ROLES

On the Admin - Roles screen, we added the ability for you to view the properties of roles you can’t edit (such as Admin and User) with a new overflow menu option, View Role.

MATCHING THE ADMIN - IO PROFILES USER INTERFACE TO ITS CAPABILITIES

We fixed the user interface of Admin - IO Profiles to remove the check boxes, as they gave the appearance of allowing multiple profiles to be edited or deleted at once, and the screen has never supported this (even in legacy iOn).

POPULATING THE ROLES COLUMN ON THE ADMIN - USERS SCREEN

We updated how the Admin - Users screen data is pulled for the Roles column, so this will now correctly display the role each user is assigned.
