ENHANCED USER INTERFACE FOR ASSET HISTORY

We updated mapping asset history to show the report functionality and event grid data on the left and map on the right, which will enable you to better view how the two correlate without scrolling. If you need more screen real estate for either the grid or map, you can click and drag the tab separating the two right or left.

INCLUDING UNIQUE IDS IN THE IMPORT DOWNLOAD TEMPLATE

For Admin screens that allow importing entities in bulk (Assets, Groups, Users, and Drivers), added an Id column to the XLSX file downloaded with the Download Template with Entities option that will show each entity’s unique ID. This will enable you to modify attributes such as the record names.

IMPROVED TRACKING SCREEN FOR LARGE FLEETS

We greatly improved the Tracking screen’s performance and map experience for customers with large fleets (greater than 5,000 assets) by offering Huge Fleet mode. This will hide the asset list panel and remove the option to turn off clustering in order to support the display of many assets. (Also, assets’ locations and details will not automatically update.) You can view an asset’s details pane by clicking its icon and then its name in the asset pop-up window (or View Asset in the Notifications panel).

You can switch to Normal mode by limiting the number of assets on the map (for example, by selecting a small group in the Group Chooser or applying one of the Tracking screen filters).

AUTOMATICALLY TURNING ON THE DISPLAY OF GEOFENCES FOR GEOFENCE ACTIONS

We changed how the Tracking screen handles the display of geofences, which is turned off by default in Map Layers. Now, if you apply a Geofence filter or create a new geofence, Map Layers will automatically select and show the Geofence layer (so that you can immediately view the chosen or newly added geofences).
