To change your password when you are already logged in to iOn, follow these steps:

Note: If you have forgotten your password and need to reset it, see Resetting a Forgotten Password from the Login Screen.

1. From any iOn screen, click your username in the banner, which looks like this: . (Make sure that you click your username, not the profile icon.)
    
   Alternatively, you can click  >> Preferences.
   
   The Your Profile dialog box will appear.
   
    
2. In the Preferences area, click the Change Password check box.
    
   The Change Password options will appear.
    
    
3. Type the password you want to use going forward in the Password field, keeping these requirements in mind:
    
   • The password must contain one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, one number, and one special character.
      
   • It must have between 10 and 64 characters.
      
   • It cannot contain spaces or your username.
      
4. Type your new password again in the Confirm Password field.
    
5. Click Save.
